One of my best Christmas memories was at my cousins' house where we all did a nativity scene together on Christmas Eve with towels and bath robes for costumes. Even though some of the "mules" were a bit rowdy and the wise men were tackling one another, we felt the spirit. Especially once we all gathered around the baby Jesus.
This year our girls participated in something similar with their cousins.
Even though the shepherds (Charlotte and Henry) kept shedding their costumes and
the angel (Hazel) was wearing Grandma Pat's old wig...
we felt the spirit.
Especially once we all gathered around the baby Jesus (Ellie) and sang "Away in a Manger."

And a pose with a little more flare...

The shepherds...

Mary (Ms. Kate) with the baby Jesus (Ellie, of course).
