Firsts

We entered Hazel in an arts academy/preschool called Bravo Arts Academy. She loves it. I really struggled with the decision to enter her this year or next year or to try Joy School, etc. but I'm really happy with our decision. She is learning basic piano skills and sign language, both of which are really important to me. It's two days a week for two hours, which gives me some "activity time" with Charlotte, as well as some time to go to the gym. She also goes to a dance class once a week and that is by far her favorite. She gets to wear ballet slippers and a tutu. So fun.

A nice little visit

August 15-18th

My mom and brother, Bradley, came for a quick and much needed visit. We went to the Nickelcade, we saw Toy Story 3 (I cried, really), and even pulled off a trip to the great IKEA. Both of them are such a help with the girlies and just darn good company.

Hazel thinks this boy is pretty special. I love that he volunteered to sit at her mini table because he knew she would have pitched a fit if he didn't.

I'm going to miss summer. This one was a good one.
(But I am really excited for fall. Who doesn't love fall?)
