Weekend with family

Tyson and Amber came down from Idaho and we spent the weekend with them up at Kevin and Vicki's. It was our first time meeting little Spencer who was born on Dec. 31st.
The girls had a great time outside in the snow.

I love that Hazel's big smile soon turns to...

...hiding her face!



Brooklyn and Kennedy didn't have snow clothes, so they were out in their jeans and borrowed snow gear from Gram! I was very impressed with how tough they were in the cold.









Isn't sledding so much fun? It's addictive.
(Except for the part where you have to hike back up the hill.)



Gram made mini cherry pies with the girls on Monday.

That evening we invited Paige and her kids to join us. She and David took Hazel and Brooklyn skiing! It was Hazel's first time and unfortunately I stayed home with the other kids, so I don't have pictures. They went to the Magic Carpet at Wolf Mountain which is like a little conveyor belt that takes them up a small hill and they ski down. Hazel did great and loved it.

And back at the home front, Charlotte made sure Jude was taken care of...she felt like he needed to accessorize a bit.
