our garden

This is the third year we've done a garden. We are terrible gardeners, mostly due to lack of time. But this year was the best because my carrots grew. For some reason, I've always wanted carrots in my backyard. That's just when you know that you've really "arrived," as a novice gardener, you know?

*(What you don't see: I accidentally left this entire bunch of freshly picked carrots on my back porch...for like a week. I am so sorry.)

Holy Peppers, batman! Those are HUGE!! Love the carrots, too bad they went back as fertilizer :-P We don't have a garden, but I did get some rose plants and a flowering plant for Mothers' day this year, and they've been flowering like CRAZY. I'm going to be sad to leave them, but whatcha gonna do, right? We'll get a garden set up in MD if we get a back yard. :-)
